ASTER FORTUNUS or the "lucky star" flower. Not named after business magnate John Jacob Astor who died aboard the RMS Titanic. A robust cultivar related to both the wheel of fortune flower and the primrose pinwheel. State flower of New Amsterdam.
Each of these is an original collage... not a print or reproduction. Handmade in a limited edition of 23. Its surface is 100% currency collage on Coventry Rag (a 1/32" thick 100% cotton fiber paper). The resulting semi-rigid collage has received 3 coats of acrylic varnish. Each collage is signed and numbered on the back, and comes with a signed frame label to aid in future identification and authentication.
In-house framing is available IN THIS STYLE HERE. Framing may add 2 to 3 weeks to the delivery of your order.
Set of 4 floral collages: SUSAN, THISTLE, ASTER, and CABBAGE $800
