A nod to traditional stories both adventurous and fantastical. Would anyone have really believed Odysseus upon his return? It all sounds so implausible. His audience giving each other the side-eye, "Sure Ody... tell us another one!!!" Incidentally, George Washington's honorific during the revolutionary war was "His Excellency"... hence the letter-spelling identification on the boat's sail "X.L.N.C.”

This is an original, handmade, one-of-a-kind artwork... not a print or reproduction. Its surface is 100% currency collage on a rigid wooden panel.

The piece is framed in a painted maple frame and glazed with UV filtering plexiglass. Quarter-round collaged spacers on the inner lip of the frame offer an extra something to the attentive viewer. The back of the frame sports a detailed, handwritten, and signed frame label to aid in future identification and authentication.
