currency on heavy cotton paper
8 x 6 inches (20.3 x 15.2 cm)

I need a vacation. A getaway. A break from the practical concerns of the dismal day-to-day. Do you??? As much as is artistically possible, i've tried to embody that here: the best possible kind of lost. A tropical island of the mind. A postcard from a dream reads "wish you were here."

This is an original collage... not a print or reproduction. Its surface is 100% currency collage on Coventry Rag (a 1/32" thick 100% cotton fiber paper). The resulting semi-rigid collage has received 3 coats of acrylic varnish. It is signed on the back, and comes with a signed frame label to aid in future identification and authentication.

The collages are rather rigid and prop up nicely. The front face is pretty durable and the Liquitex varnish touts UV protection. I've seen people magnet them to metal surfaces, pin them to cork board, and sleeve them in 3-ring binders along side other collectibles and ephemera. We DO offer in-house framing is IN THIS STYLE HERE. If you'd like to receive your collage ready to hang in a museum-quality frame, just add one to your cart. Framing may add 2 to 3 weeks to the delivery of your order.
